Mercy Announces Mercy Family Clinic – Charles City

CHARLES CITY – Mercy Clinics are excited to announce a new primary care clinic in Charles City, Mercy Family Clinic – Charles City, which will open in the community later this month.

Mercy Clinics acquired Kimm Family Practice after Kevin Kimm, D.O. decided to move to Blue Earth, Minnesota. Mercy Family Clinic – Charles City will be relocated to 1413 South Grand Avenue, between the Morton Building Dealership and the Super 8 Motel. The recent flood, however, has delayed the building project; therefore patients will temporarily be seen at Mercy Family Clinic – Rockford.

“Mercy always has had a presence in the Charles City community and a perfect opportunity to develop that commitment to include a family medicine specialty clinic was presented to us,” said Doug Morse, Senior Vice President, Network and Clinic Management.

Joanne Robinson, ARNP, who has been practicing at Mercy Family Clinic – Rockford, will return to Charles City and be the primary provider at the clinic. Office hours of Mercy Family Clinic – Charles City will remain Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and the telephone number will remain 641.228.5555.

The clinic will specialize in family medicine, treating patients of all ages from preventative medicine to acute care. Mercy Family Clinic – Charles City is a department of Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa, a Top 100 Hospital in the nation for six years and Top 100 Cardiovascular Hospital for seven years.
