Mason City Senior Activity Center - Where Good Things Happen Every Day!
The Mason City Senior Activity Center was established for senior citizens in the area to come together to participate in programs, education, health awareness, activities, and services to promote independence. It is incorporated by the State of Iowa and is a free-standing Center operated by a board of directors.

Congregate Meal Site
Low cost nutritionally based meals are provided at the Center for noon meals
Monday through Friday. Meal reservations need to be made one day in advance
by calling the Center.
Senior Health Clinic
Designed to provide health screening for individuals age 55 and older. The
clinics are free, but donations are accepted.
Repair Shop
For a nominal fee, individuals may have home electrical appliances fixed and
repaired.
Super Senior Shape Up
Exercise Class
This is a fitness class for men and women over 55 years of age. It is a fun
and safe exercise program and includes activities to improve joint flexibility,
muscle tone and strength.
- Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:45 - 11:30 a.m.
- Fee: $.50 per class
Information/Referral
Information about services, programs, benefits, and activities related to older
adults is available through the Center. If needed, referrals will be made
to other agencies for complex personal concerns or needs.
