Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Physical medicine and rehabilitation, also known as physiatry, is a diverse specialty practice focusing on the restoration of function for people of all ages and conditions.

Whether the loss of function stems from a sprain, stroke, brain injury, or birth defect, a physiatrist works with you to help you put your life back together - medically, socially, emotionally, and vocationally - after injury or disease.
